About Me
关于我
As of 2026, I have 22 years of Chinese-language teaching experience: 4 years in China and 18 years in Singapore. My work has long focused on Chinese language teaching, with particular attention to helping students learn more effectively, develop greater interest in the language, build confidence, and prepare for examinations with clearer direction.
JovialSight Chinese began with a simple idea: to make it easier for students to continue learning Chinese at home after class. I started turning the methods, exercises, and tools I used in teaching into resources that students could use more independently and systematically.
Over time, I also began sharing these resources with fellow teachers. As the collection of tools and materials grew, I wanted JovialSight Chinese to benefit not only my own students and colleagues, but also a wider community of Chinese language learners and educators.
Most of the tools and learning resources I create are shaped by real classroom needs. My aim is to keep them simple, clear, practical, and easy to use — so that learning Chinese is not only about examinations, but also about developing interest, confidence, direction, and meaningful progress.

截至 2026 年，我累计有 22 年华文教学经验，其中 4 年在中国、18 年在新加坡。长期从事华文教学，并特别关注学生如何更有效地学习、提高对华文的兴趣、建立学习信心，以及更有方向地准备考试。
JovialSight Chinese 最初的出发点很简单：希望学生离开课堂以后，也能在家方便地继续学习华文。因此，我开始把平时教学中使用的方法、练习和工具整理出来，让学生能够更自主、更有系统地学习。
后来，这些资源也逐渐分享给身边的同事使用。随着内容和工具越来越丰富，我希望 JovialSight Chinese 不只服务于自己的学生和同事，也能让更多学习华文的学生和教师从中受益。
我所制作的工具和学习资源，大多来自真实课堂中的需要。我希望它们保持简单、清楚、实用、容易使用，让华文学习不只是为了应考，也能够变得更有兴趣、更有方向，也更有成效。
